Guess what Garnock community – it’s a new month which means there is a new right of the month.
Before I tell you what the right is if you are unaware of what right of the month is I’m going to explain it. Garnock is aiming to be a rights respecting campus which includes the early years, the primary and the secondary. At the moment we are working towards our bronze award and as a way to achieve this we are doing an article of the month. Last month , September, all secondary school pupils at Garnock were welcomed by the members of the rights respecting steering group . Which is all pupils by the way! The group announced that last month’s article of the rights of the child was article 31 which is all children should be able to play , relax and take part in cultural activities.

The right respecting steering group will be announcing this to pupils during the secondary assembly’s next week.
