It was celebrations all round on Sunday as S6 pupil Jake Kenny was crowned runner-up in the Scottish Young Musician Final at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Jake first won the Garnock Campus competition in November before going on to triumph in the North Ayrshire event in February.
And on Sunday Jake impressed all five adjudicators with a confident and accomplished performance on bass guitar, showcasing exceptional technical skills while competing against 32 pupils from across the country.
Standing by his side to support him were music teacher Miss Lawson and Faculty leader of Music and Drama, Mrs Shedden.
“This is a tremendous achievement, and we are incredibly proud of Jake’s success,” beamed Mrs Shedden.
