STEM Languages Trip at Kilmarnock Academy – William McIlvanney Campus

A group of students from Miss McCafferty’s S3 class attended a STEM/Languages trip at Kilmarnock Academy’s William McIlvanney Campus to represent our school.

The students took part in a variety of exciting challenges, including designing a space hotel, creating a marketing video, taking part in a Russian taster session, delivering a presentation to showcase their Spanish skills, and learning how to order materials in Spanish.

This trip gave our young people the opportunity to develop their communication skills in Spanish while strengthening bonds and friendships – something we strongly encourage here at Garnock Community Campus.

A special thank you to our Head Teacher, Mr McDougall, for funding the trip, and to Miss McCafferty for organising and accompanying the students, giving them such a valuable and enjoyable learning opportunity.
