Hey North Ayrshire! Time to Have Your Say

Want to make a real difference in your community? Now’s your chance.

Voting is open for North Ayrshire Council’s latest Participatory Budgeting (PB) round — and you get to decide which local projects get the funding. You help choose where the money goes.

Deadline: Midnight, Monday 10 November 2025
Vote here:  Shaping North Ayrshire website

There are loads of great projects up for funding — from ideas to support mental health and tackle the cost of living, to projects focused on equality and the environment.

Here’s what’s on offer:

  • Local Projects: health, wellbeing, green spaces, community spirit
  • Youth Projects: equality, young people’s voices, wellbeing, cost of living, green projects
  • Community Wealth Projects: local business ideas, community ownership, innovation

If you’re 12–25, you can vote using your Young Scot card — either at school or from home. Don’t have one? No problem. Email ParticipatoryBudgeting@north-ayrshire.gov.uk to get a temporary voting number.

“You know your community best,” says Councillor Alan Hill. “It’s only fair that you get to decide which projects get funded. Read about them all, make your picks, and help make a real impact.”

You can vote for up to three projects in your area and the Community Wealth Fund. The projects with the most votes will receive funding.

So don’t wait — grab your Young Scot card, check out the projects, and vote before the deadline.

It’s your community. It’s your money. You decide.
