Since the start of 2026, Glasgow Airport has announced two new routes — one in January and another this month, February.
The January route is a brand-new connection to Zurich with Edelweiss Airlines, operating twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, launching on 29th May.
The second route is particularly special, as it is the only route from Scotland to north-west Germany. The new connection to Hannover with Eurowings will operate three times a week from 29th June until the end of August.
A Glasgow Airport spokesperson said:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Eurowings back to Glasgow Airport. As the only route between Scotland and the historic German city of Hanover, I’m confident the route will appeal to German holidaymakers keen to lace up their walking boots and explore the rugged beauty of Scotland, whilst linking two dynamic and historic city break gems.”
