This year Home Economics has created multiple clubs and opportunities for S1. The S1 pupils have just started H.E and have been making fruit salad, cheese on toast and chicken pitta pockets.
S1 have also had a block in Baking Club where they have made cookies and cupcakes. Baking Club was a great opportunity for the S1 students to have a try of baking and using the oven.
Mrs Gilgallon and Miss Darling are the teachers in H.E. Mrs Allan is head of the department. They are all amazing teachers and very good at what they do.
Most S1 pupils love H.E. because they get to cook and learn about the best cooking methods.
