The English department enjoyed an early Black Friday rush as shoppers snapped up handmade jewellery from the school’s Jewellery Making group – The Duck Collective.
The mini market saw the crafty pupils sell some of the earrings, necklaces, brooches, bracelets and pins at lunchtime on Tuesday.
“It’s been going well,” said Mrs Wishart. “We even had people coming along early to buy some jewellery early.”
The sale money will be put towards buying more jewels for their collection being prepared for the Christmas fayre.
The Duck Collective meet every Friday in Mrs Wishart’s room.
