11 Positive Affirmations

Positive affirmations are statements that can make you feel better. It’s important to revisit them daily to improve and strengthen your mindset – almost like practising an instrument or a sport. It might feel cringe at first, but they can be really effective in boosting your wellbeing.

I’ve create a list of my favourite 11 positive affirmations below to get you started, but you can always personalise them or make up your own depending on what works for you.

  • Every day is an opportunity to grow
  • I deserve to love and be loved
  • Today I will make someone smile
  • 100 I’m confident in my skills and goals
  • My body is perfect for me
  • I’m becoming the best version of myself
  • I’m in charge of my feelings
  • I am kind
  • I’m allowed to say “no” to others and “yes” to myself
  • I feel grateful for everything I have

It can be helpful to say these out loud to yourself before you start your day, or record  yourself saying them to listen to on the way to school. If you aren’t ready to say or hear them out loud, you can also read them to yourself. Give it a go now, and see. how you feel!
