When was the last time you took a moment to pop into our school library – I hope it was recently as our school library is an amazing place to read or study, with its calm environment and delightful book selections. You are always guaranteed a warm welcome from Ms Walker.
Speaking of books, I would like to point out the impressive choice of books offered to the people of Garnock. They range from fiction to non-fiction, action to horror and there is also an extensive collection of comics and graphic novels. The library itself is very calm, with cozy nooks to read in and tables where you can sit and study or work on your homework.
Miss Walker, the librarian, is incredibly helpful and always helps people when they need it. From my personal experience, she’s helped me and others when we asked. All that’s really asked in return of this amazing stuff, is you follow the rules and always be respectful.
It could be that you are a senior student and need help with your research skills and this is something that Ms Walker can help with too.
Last year the library was threatened with closure, so let’s join as a school community and use our amazing resource.
As a first year I have loved every visit to the library, there is always something interesting to read and it is a place in the heart of the school that myself and many others love and cherish.
